This year’s Sparkassen Cup took place on 7 June 2023 at the sportsfield “An der Laubstiege” in Gronau. A total of 20 company teams from Gronau and surrounding cities faced each other in four groups trying to get to the final.
After losing in the first match, we won the next two matches and our team, which never played togehter before in this composition, grew toghether and found their rhythm. However, in the last and deciding game of the group we were defeated by the Volksbank team, who finished as the second winner in the end, and were eliminated from the tournament.
We still spent a great evening with a big group of colleagues who came to support our team. Congratulations to the winning team from Sparkasse. We look forward to the next tournament.
