The second industrial fair for Gronau and Epe took place on Sunday, 14 May after a five year break. Many visitors from Gronau and neighbouring cities were attracted to the industiral area “Am Berge” and the area south of the Hellweg-Market back to the street “An der Eßseite” for a sunny day outside.
We were exhibiting with a stand and different attractions for big and small in the fair tent on Einstein Ring. We invited young visitors to participate in our colouring campaign featuring our mascot F2B2. We raffled off five cinema vouchers for the cinema in Gronau among all coloured pictures submitted. The winners were informed via email.
Visitors could also demonstrate their skills in our screw-assembly competition. Given five screws with different diameters visitors had to find the matching washers and nuts and assemble the completely. The task proved to be demanding as the smallest diameter was only 4 mm. We are more than impressed by the fastest competitor, Ralf Kosse, who assembled all five sets in 39,46 seconds. The second fastest competitor assembled all sets in 43,18 seconds followed by the third winner with 45,43 seconds. All three winners receive a 50 € city voucher.
We also provided for the visitors well being by handing our servings of popcorns – not only to the delight of our younger guests.
After a successfull day of exhibiting, the industrial fair came to an end at 18 o’clock with cold drinks. We are delighted about all new contacts made at the industrial fair and all participants in our raffle and competition.
